Why are you worried about being poor?

March 16, 2007 at 5:50 pm (abundance, love, wealth)

Hello Friends

Being poor is such a scary topic.

Many people I spoke to lately want to have security before they take risks – before they risk the next step. The step to become free. Before they touch love. They tell me that they need to provide. They need food on the table.

It’s not easy for me to explain but I believe in the following:

You have to decide what you love.

And only do what you love doing.

Because in doing what you love you’ll be inspired.

And being inspired is a divine privileged.

When you inspire through what you do, because you love doing it, you will have enough.

Please tell me if you want more that enough?

Tell me if you are scared about being poor?

Do you disagree with my believe that doing what you love will provide all and more than enough – more than you may ever need?

When you watch the movie you will not see a portion of the text where the son thanks the dad for showing him how P..r they are.

I totally agree with you. I am not worried of what I am . Your wonderful story in the movie is very much new to me. I liked it. I love what I do and I do what I love. I never want to hurt/harm others though many may not like what I do.
Thank you Mr. Johan Horak for posting your thoughts.

Thank you sreevasu. What you do you do for love. And you, I and people who stumble across this blog realize the the power and the the TRUE meaning of love. It is all about your love – your love for who you are.

Spread it, share it. With love we will be free.

Poverty is untested potential, resulting from self imposed limitations.
Poverty is working a lifetime doing something you hate,so you can retire and do something you like after 65.
Poverty is having many acquaintances and not knowing any of them well.
Poverty is having so many clothes, you “haven’t a thing to wear”
Poverty is eating so well you have to think about going on a diet.
Poverty is having every pill imaginable to cure your body’s’ ills, because you “cant afford to be sick”
Poverty is being loaded down with toys at birthdays and Christmas, and then being bored silly because there’s nothing to do.
Poverty is having three degrees and feeling unfulfilled in your job.
Poverty is having two cars, three TV’s,and a dishwasher, and then “roughing it” by going camping to “get away from it all.”
Poverty is going, day-to-day,from one building to the next and never stopping to see the beauty in the world outside.
Poverty is spending money on make-up, deodorants, colognes and designer clothes, and still being worried about the image you are projecting.
Poverty is never being curious about the world around you and never wanting to explore it or the people in it.
Poverty is as much of the soul,as it is the body.

Dear Johan I stumbled across the above from an unknown author, and remembered your blog.Keep up the good work and I will continue reading.Best regards Leo van Straten.

My lost friend it’s great to have you back. Thanks for contributing. And remember you have what you have because you decided long ago to have it. If it’s good or bad – you are experiencing it because you’ll get stronger.

I just had a discussion today with another reader of this blog. It was all about what is enough. And do we want more than what’s enough. Unfortunately we find it difficult to define enough.

    Abundant thoughts

This is what vivaswan wrote in an email to me:

“Do we want more than what is enough?”

wanting more is dividing the world in two

    every moment is an invitation
the illusion of time is the rejection of that invitation

it is good to breathe, and I am thankful for every breath

you are very warm and very light

    like a Deva, an angel

    pure

    Hi Leslie

    Thank you for being honest.

Many people feel like you do. You are not alone. This world is the place we chose to learn compassion, love and patience. Most of us not comfortable here and that’s why we are here. It’s that pain we experience that makes us stronger. It’s only after you have broken trough your pain barrier that you will be able to help people who are on their way.

It’s only in hindsight that you will know why you had to endure the pain you are going through my friend.

You may want to get up and always thank your god for what you have when you feel bad. Remember it took a long time (when you were unconscious of the law of love) to get to your current emotional situation. And you will change it over time by bad-feeling-bad-thoughts ====>>> replace it with good-thoughts-good-feeling.

One of the best books that can help you is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. It’s free or you can buy it from Amazon. Do not read it study it. I made a audio mp3 for my iPOD and I listened to it many many times.

If you cannot get hold of it let me know and I’ll email you one.

    LOVE

    Johan
